IAIA Artist Residency - Santa Fe, NM
While working as an Artist-in-Residence at the Institute for American Indian Arts I learned to create silkscreen images of my designs.
This was a valuable skill to learn. This process can help me reproduce my images over and over. This skill will be helpful for creating prints for the feast hall to distribute to my community. Up to 500 guests can show up to a feast and each guest is to be honoured with a gift for attending and recognizing the business conducted at that particular feast. The ability to reproduce 500 images of my work for my community is a gift.
